This water proof, chemical resistant, low drift Humidity and Temperature module from IST :provides a fully calibrated and compensated humidity and temperature digital signal output.

Versatile and Replaceable Digital humidity sensor, a cost-effective component. In the SHT family the capacitive humidity sensors are fully calibrated and provides a digital output ready for interface.
Each SHT7x is individually calibrated in a precision humidity chamber. The calibration coefficients are programmed into an OTP memory on the chip. These coefficients are used to internally calibrate the signals from the sensors. The 2-wire serial interface and internal voltage regulation allows for easy and fast system integration.
The power consumption of around 80uW makes it ideal for battery operated devices. It measures the full span of 0-100% RH with a response time of 8 sec. The temperature range being -40 – +125°C.
SCK is used to synchronize the communication between microcontroller and SHT7x. The DATA tri-state pin is used to transfer data in and out of the sensor.
